Is A Broken Baby Tooth An Emergency?
A broken tooth is one of the most common types of dental emergencies. However, when it’s a baby tooth, parents might understandably wonder if it poses the same level of concern.
At Cavity Patrol Pediatric Dentistry, we understand the magnitude of a kind, helping hand. Through the impact of community programs, Dr. Chun and Dr. Julia received care that changed the course of their lives, and the resources they needed to become the pediatric dentists they are today. To help others experience that same kind of selfless compassion and care, we’re thrilled to hold a special partnership with Cy-Hope. Check out some of our features in local news below!

Dr. Chun and Dr. Julia are a husband and wife team dedicated to strengthening tiny smiles with compassionate, genuine care.
“We want to give back, we want to be involved in the community, and we want to do that in a way that is going to help kids like ourselves when we were growing up.”
As certified pediatric dentists in Cypress, our story stems from simple acts of kindness. Growing up in underserved households, Dr. Chun and Dr. Julia were given the opportunity to succeed and discover their passions for dentistry through the care of community programs in their hometowns.
Today, this dental duo is helping other underserved children experience fuller, healthier lives by giving back with Cy-Hope: a local nonprofit aiding students in Cy-Fair ISD, so they can succeed in school and life. Through Cy-Hope’s Backpack Program, we’re donating a backpack full of food to an underserved student with each new patient that visits Cavity Patrol.
We’re humbled to donate our time, expertise, and care beyond the office to a community so close to our hearts. Serving alongside our staff and volunteers, we aim to be smile heroes in our beloved city of Cypress and create unforgettable bonds with the families that encompass it. Together, we’re bridging the gap between access to quality care and underserved children.
